I first found out of Inca Pan in the second issue of The Gutenberg’s Quarterly. Pan’s work is folksy, colorful, homie, and curious. I’m seeing some eastern and western influences. He is based in Taichung, Taiwan.

I ran into Paula Duró’s work on flickr yesterday morning. It reminds me of the Latin American art around me growing up, with a whole bunch of new stuff involved. Her colors just make me want to put on some 3-D glasses. Check out her other work, it’s nice. She’s based in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
